Reputation

From Tenderfoot Tactics

Reputation is a measure of the party's standing with an individual town. Increasing a town's population by winning battles will increase reputation.

Reputation is important for utilizing town hoards: adding an item to a hoard increases reputation, while taking an item from a hoard decreases it. The exact amount of reputation gained or lost varies with the rarity of the trinket:

  • Common (white): 10
  • Uncommon (green): 125
  • Rare (blue): 500
  • Wonderful (purple): 2000
  • Unique (gold): 9900

Levels[edit]

Reputation is broken up into different levels, which tracks reputation points starting at zero and ending at a certain threshold that increases with each level. Upon reaching the next level in reputation, the reputation point value resets back to zero. These are the reputation levels and the points required to advance to the next level:

  • Cold: 100
  • Friendly: 500
  • Familial: 1000 (allows taking uncommon items from hoards)
  • Respected: 3000 (allows taking rare items from hoards)
  • Honored: 5000 (allows taking wonderful items from hoards)
  • Revered: N/A (allows taking unique items from hoards)
